Fundament Film develops, finances independently and produces feature films, television productions and shorts.

Fundament Film is firmly rooted in Scandivavia with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen. The company is run by producers Lars Pettersson, Håkan Hammarén and Richard Georg Engström.
On-going projects
At Fundament Film, we are currently developing scripts based on material such as Johan Theorin's book Skumtimmen (Echoes from the dead), the translation rights for which have been sold to twenty countries, and Kaparkungen (The King of Privateers), a true story about the greatest of the Swedish privateers, who had 156 vessels in the Göteborg port and who laid the cornerstones of the fortunes of a number of still wealthy families.
At Fundament Film we have enduring, close collaboration with established Swedish originators such as Harald Hamrell and Daniel Lind Lagerlöf. We also work actively with new, young creative talents from, among others, Dramatiska Institutet, the Stockholm-based University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre.
Our objective at Fundament Film is to become the most sought-after production company in Sweden, a company that attracts the interest of individuals we employ on a project basis as well as originators, plus television channels, and other commissioning partners, who will want to work with us and who will return to us because they are satisfied with our productions.
